Winter Wonderland

In all the years I have lived in Michigan, I have never ventured to Lake Michigan during the winter.

Could never imagine that snowshoeing on waves of ice could be just as much fun as putting my toes in the sand!  Many, many thanks to mom and dad for all the invites to their new condo allowing us to enjoy summer fun last year and the beauty of Lake Michigan in freezing temps this year!  Herb and I borrowed the snowshoes and were off to enjoy a Valentine's Day hike... on the waves of ice.
